Daydreaming

How would you define daydreaming?
Under Chinese culture, daydreaming is considered as zoned out. It is wasting time and useless. However, western people have completely different point of view. They believe it can benefit our personal development. They also suggest it can give you a pleasant feeling. As a designer, daydreaming is one of the ways to give me inspiration. Through my project, I want to use an interesting way to promote daydreaming and so people are able to understand the spirit and characteristic of it.
My work is divided into two books. They present the same content but in two different ways, practical (words) and experimental (graphics). Readers can have a further understanding of daydreaming by reading both of them.
白日夢對於一個人的發展有著不同層面上的好處，同時在我們的心靈上也起了慰藉的作用。身為一名設計師更加明白白日夢的好處。因此，本作品利用有趣的方法期望讀者能了解白日夢的精神和特性。
本作品一共有兩部份，利用對照的手法讓人了解白日夢：一本書是實用性為主，讓讀者充份閱讀內文；而另一本書則會用富有實驗性的設計呈現同樣內容，恍如一本會發白日夢的書，以增加趣味性。
