Chicago Badge Design
This badge was created for an online competition. Contestants were allowed to choose any city in the world, and were expected to come up with a badge design to represent that city.
Having lived in Chicago for many years now, I have developed a profound love and respect for this city.
This design has received a strong positive feedback on social media, and it is something that I am very proud of.

The Chicago badge features the John Hancock building in the center. It is an iconic structure and landmark located in the heart of the downtown area.
Surrounding the building, are red stars and a blue "C". Both the colors and the stars themselves are inspired by the Chicago flag.
The large blue "C" is a representation of the Chicago Cubs. I choose this to honor our 2016 World Series Champions. It was the first win for the Cubs in over 100 years. This was a huge victory for the city of Chicago, and I wanted to highlight that in my badge design.
The font chosen for the "Chicago" label located at the bottom of the badge, was intended to represent the city's well deserved reputation of "the windy city".
