Dog With Braces
I always give my friends unique objects as gifts, especially when I can work with a variety of mediums. The following project is exactly that. Using materials that I have been "keeping for special occasions" I managed to create this nice brooch with packaging.
The brooch is made out of earthenware, decorated with cobalt stain and double fired (1085° C). I shaped the metallic pin using some 0.7 mm copper coated steel wire and a set of pliers.
For the box I used the die cut that I created for the Archiving Box project with 700 gsm Notturno paper. The box is stapled and filled with black 25 gsm silk paper.
