Das Funke is a fictional German high performance spark plug company. This company was part of a branding project. With that project we were given the task to create an identity, magazine ad, and a package design.
With the logo I included a spark plug and a German element, which is the wings. The wings represent the golden eagle of Germany.
The following magazine spread contains the advertisement on the right and a series of photos that designate what type of magazine this product would be advertised in.
The following package system contains a small package design that has a fold up flap. Under the flap is a note that this product is "Trusted by Dale Jr. #88". The reason behind this element is that by having a well known name in the racing industry people are more likely to buy it.
