Michael Jackson - Dangerous | Minimalistic Poster

This project that began in late August was based around the idea of designing a minimalistic poster for the album Dangerous by Michael Jackson, by using nothing but shapes and light textures to create one of the jackets that Jackson himself wore during the Dangerous Tour in 1992.

Other illustration content includes the white glove, microphone, and gold sash alongside a border and star pattern, combining with the text, as it did on the actual artwork of the LP record cover.

As for the mockups, I decided to go with one being placed in a frame and displayed against the wall of a studio apartment, and another being framed on top of a gradient background that blends the two main colours used in the final outcome.
