CHILDREN OF THE NEW WAVE
For three weeks I stayed in one of the Moscow summer camps for children and teenagers in order to find the answer to the question: "Has the childhood changed with the advent of globalization in Russia and in which direction? "
The answer was obvious: despite the unmeasured craving for smartphones in the older squads (hence the excessive passivity), everything else remained unchanged. Children are also happy with the little things, playing, crying, running around, screaming and absorbing any new information like sponges.
Nevertheless, there are positive changes: someone in his 8 years already knows how to use Wikipedia, someone at 10 shows unprecedented tolerance towards ethnic minorities and can even explains why, and someone at 12 already actively monitors the course of bitcoins .
In this photo essay, I combined all little people whose images represent the modern Russian child outside the home environment, where they can feel grown-up and independent of parents, school and other factors that embarrass the child's pure mind.
