    Developed as concept look and feel for our client, this identity takes a modern twist on the name "Nickel" for a credit union. The identity is playful, fun, and upbeat. The visuals juxtapose themselves with the name Nickel, which conveys an attitude of hard-working, hard-earned and has a sense of old-fashioned values. This solution bring a youthful attitude to a 70 year-old financial institution in a modern and unique way. Two color schemes were presented along with additional creative directions. RESULTS The support identities shown here, as part of a larger presentation, allowed the credit union board to feel that they had many viable options. The final selection of UMe (shown in additional project on this site) was overwhelmingly approved. Read Less

The word Nickel conveys an attitude of hard-working, hard-earned money, of savings and has a sense of old-fashioned values. When paired with a more modern visual identity, this name and treatment become a unique solution within the credit union space.
