This is the digital version of an acrylic painting I made for the 2016 Wapiti Music Festival Art Expo which won People's Choice Award. The inspiration for this piece comes from my interest in the community and cultures that define Fernie's history. This design follows the legend of the Ghostrider that is seen on the side of Mount Hosmer in the late afternoon during spring and fall. I am a fan of First Nations art and also use this clean crisp style as a source of inspiration.
