Summer 2017 - Kygo Album Cover Art / CD Art
This project originally began as a 5 page digital photo-bio about a music artist that I had enjoyed. Once the project was completed, I noticed one of its pages were laid out in a very similar dimension to a CD. The challenge with this project involved trying to capture the feel of the artist, while at the same time illustrating it in a tasteful fashion. Kygo, a Swedish DJ, has a style of music genre called "Tropical House", so going with bright colors and palm trees were a given. The theme of paint came from a time when painting on canvas by the beach was a common sight to see when I was relaxing.
