Uniqueness of these IDOLS are that they are made of Red soil, organic fertilizers and seeds, that transform into a tree after immersion. Besides being environment friendly, this concept can sow a big tree, thus the presence of deities are still present with us even after their immersion.
Puttenahalli Lake is a 10 hectare water body near Yelahanka, Bengaluru, where the people living right next to this lake were suffering from dirty water supply and pollution in this lake, due to immersion of idols and garbage, is unable to recycle so much waste over such a long period of time.
A quick workshop was taken with the kids of the area in order to bring a change in the space though this activity and a festival that they all celebrate.
