Berlin. Autumn. The present. The feeling of heaviness, of cold, and of fading is in the air. Leaves are falling and I realize how much time has passed. And again, I feel a sense of disorientation and dysphoria. I’m bothered by a feeling of seemingly irrational hope for perfection and self-realization. Questions are tumbling through my head:
How can I reach that perfection? Am I currently doing the right thing? Am I not actually terribly demanding?
But between all these shades of grey of my life’s experiences I may be able to see some Good. The achromatic chaos is interveined by colorful hope. But even those can turn achromatic in a heartbeat. Which can lead back to colorful, but also to even darker shades of the problem.
In the collection, the feeling of being led by achromatic and chromatic feelings is put in focus. The sensation of restlessness and turmoil is thematized through targeted surface treatment and cutting guide.
