The Delhi Public Library is an organization under the Ministry of culture, With a wide network of libraries across the city, the library has a rich, vast collection of books in multiple languages, music, movies and other scholarly resources.
The logo is inspired from the simple form of a spiral-staircase, which metaphorically, also represents- ascent to higher goals and success; and also looks like a stack of books. The identity is in keeping with the library's mission statement which is to encourage community building and to support intellectual pursuits among the diverse & multi-cultured people of Delhi, the national capital of India.
