    Fall 2011, Inspired Style Project: Henri Cartier-Bresson This series of images is inspired by Henri Cartier-Bresson, the father of modern photojournalism. With his work in mind, I attempted to capture “the decisive moment,” as he called it, by allowing “the formal spatial relationships of the subjects to reveal their essential meaning.” Photographing in New York City is an important aspect of my work. With every corner, sidewalk and street as a product of my imagination, this city is the center of all things new: new faces, new places, and as a result, new moments to decisively capture. Read Less
