Assignment extract: «In this task you will develop a new visual identity for the Theater House Avant Garden (TAG) in Trondheim. TAG do not develop their own performances but curate different theater groups/companies with current performances. The main task of the theater is therefore to convey a variety of artistic expressions. Developing a visual identity for a cultural institution such as this is often a more complex task than, for example, developing an identity for a store chain whose purpose is first and foremost to stand out in the market. There is no facit solution how to balance the relationship between visualization of the theater as an institution and the various artistic/visual expressions in the various theater arrangements should be a central part of your design strategy»
