BACKGROUND

Grand Ad Clash is an annual Integrated Marketing Communications Campaign competition between Senior students of the Polytechnic University of the Philippines' Department of Advertising and Public Relations. On its 27th year, Grand Ad Clash was participated by 4 teams competing for the years' client PhilHydro Inc., a subsidiary of the country's biggest water provider.


CHALLENGE

Introduce PhilHydro as the best water service provider outside Maynilad's concessionaire area to (1) increase product usage and brand recognition, (2) to discover potential business partnerships and, (3) to establish brand love.

BACKGROUND

Ground water extraction is still one of the most prominent methods of getting water despite its adversity. While this remains a major threat to the welfare and the future of our society, most Filipinos are still not aware of the danger excessive extractions of ground water might bring. The goal of this advocacy campaign is to highlight this problem to create interest in switching to a better water source.
