Zero Waste Food
This app was developed to connect food providers with hungry people. Nowadays there’s still so much good food that goes to waste while lots of people are hungry in the world. One possible solution could be before the food gets spoiled, the food goes to people's mouths. How this app works is, when restaurants and grocery stores notice that some food is about to expire, they create an event inside the app that is going to send an alert to the volunteers close by. Volunteers can make an appointment on their calendar and go to the place to pick up the food and bring to homeless shelters.
