3D Parametric Pattern Design #1

This is a set of 3D patterns created for an upcoming online course on parametric/procedural design with Rhino and Grasshopper. All the patterns are based on a single Grasshopper definition.
Each pattern consists of three separate elements which are interwoven among each other.
The geometry depends on a small set of dimensional parameters, which can also be varied along the pattern grid by using attractor points or applying variation curves.
The patterns are "tileable", and can be applied to any arbitrary surface.
This is a typical example of a type of geometry which can be physically produced only with additive techniques (i.e. 3D printing).

All the shapes were modeled using SubD meshes directly inside Grasshopper, and then exported and rendered in MODO.
