Hull University Basketball Club contacted me to design them a team logo. The was clear they wanted to keep ties to the University so after a small chat we decided that mascotizing the Hull University Crest was the best way to go about it.

Featuring a Dove, The Yorkshire Rose, A Fern, A Crown, And Torches, I began assembling them into the mascot. Everything from the colours to the Crest shape was re-purposed.

One change we did decide on was to generalise the Dove as a bird rather than specifically a dove, this way we could change it to a more aggressive looking animal to fit with opposing mascots.

The logo so far has branded a Jersey and flags high at Hull University events.
