My Masters thesis was centered around the issue of pet adoption. It covered firstly, animals that made suitable or unsuitable pets in general, and subsequently brought to the fore the various problems most animals faced in the heat of Delhi plains. The final leg of the project revealed animals that would make suitable pets in the city and moved onto promote adoption over purchase. The ad campaign is a three part teaser campaign that rips apart the illusion of adorable pedigree pets and reveals the evils that are associated with pet shops and breeders. The third and final part offers the design solution - adopting a 'desi' (from India) or an Indian breed animal, as they make the perfect pets for the climate.
