Line Drawings for Step-by-Step Instruction Manuals

Exploded view drawings showcase a product in linework and are most commonly seen as parts lists in user manuals.

This first series of illustrations is of a sewing machine that I created by taking apart certain parts of the actual machine to draw a series of the details within.
Instruction manuals require illustrations that show the consumer how something is put together or a step by step visual of what to do.

The below are a sampling of pages from a digital thermostat instruction manual.
The next series of illustrations are from furniture user manuals for tables, some including connectors and electrical wiring. While many visuals are shown within a design layout, the details in the illustrations remain accurate even at a small scale.
