I was very happy to be a part of a fantastic collaboration between Ted Baker and The Association of Illustrators. Ted commissioned a Baker’s Dozen of 13 illustrators to create unique limited edition A2 posters on the subject of Great British Pastimes, to be given away in stores around the world to customers spending over £150.
Each pastime was assigned by random lottery and my chosen subject was….fishing! I had a lot of fun this summer visiting several rivers and lakes around London, talking to many fishermen on their passion for the subject. The brief was fairly open and it was exciting to work on such a high profile project.
Once printed, each illustrator had to sign 1000 copies of their print, and it was lovely to meet a few of the other illustrators and do a print swap! Some of the other illustrators taking part in the collaboration include Sara Fanelli, Paul Bommer, Katherina Manolessou, Alice Potter and Andy Smith.
The promotion officially launched on Thursday 18th October.
