THE CLIENT


Founded in 1989, Optivisão is the largest group of Portuguese optical stores, established as the main reference in terms of quality and service in the sector of the regular optics, and in the commercialization of optical and optometric material. They are operating on the national market with more than 270 stores and on the international market as well.

THE CAMPAIGN

We presented an institutional campaign for progressive lenses that would integrate Herman José, a Portuguese comedian and public figure. This campaign would be different from the previous one he was in: we will focus less on the famous comedian's characters, and more on the duality between the true Herman and these characters.

THE CONCEPT

For the campaign, we wanted to confront the real Herman with his characters' reflection, creating a contrast between his genuine personality and his "alter-ego." This relation will create a disparity between a more solemn and confident Herman and his choice of glasses, opposed to the choice of his reflection, who prefers sunglasses, fun and humor. Herman would soon realize his best option is to chose both glasses because the best things in life come in pairs.
