Snugtable Identity Design, Photography and Website

Brief :
Snugtable is a furniture item that helps people stay warm with an innovative 55W heater, allowing users to turn down their central heating when using it. The inventor is looking to establish an on-line presence and accompanying promotional materials are required.

Requirements :
- Unique and prominent brand identity
- Product photos with a transparent background
- Product website including animated technical drawing, product gallery and order form
Branding :
I chose a colour pallet to signify warmth with an accompanying teal for contrast. Fredoka One with some kerning presented a friendly, comfortable looking typeface.
Photography :
I took photos from multiple angles against a backdrop to make it easy to add a transparent background. Initially the sharpness of the edges looked too prominent on the web, but adding a feather to the edges allowed them to look more natural.
Animated Technical Drawing :
I produced an outline of the product from the side in Illustrator, exporting as a .png, then produced an additional two layers of both the heating element and arrows signifying the movement of the heat.
Web Design :
I created a website that compliments the brand using CSS animation for the technical drawing and photography. I am still yet to create custom icons for the "why choose snugtable" section. We plan to implement woocommerce in the future for direct product ordering.
