Quem te vê não te conhece mais
Durante dois anos, trabalhos na diagramação, ilustração e impressão do livro que apresenta a tese de mestrado do arquiteto e professor Marcus Vinicius, de Campina Grande, cidade objeto de estudo do livro. O trabalho envolveu desenvolver uma linguagem visual para o tradicional texto acadêmico, cheio de regras e padrões, que engessa tanto o formato desse tipo de livro. Refizemos mapas, corrigimos imagens, fizemos uma releitura da estrutura e diagramamos tudo para transformar em um livro de arte.
O livro utiliza três Pantones distintos, impresso em papel offset, no tamanho de 16x26cm. Costurado a mão com lombada aparente e capa em triplex, dando uma estrutura distinta ao livro. A capa ainda possui a aplicação dos 3 Pantones e o verniz localizado.
Esse projeto contou com a participação do mestre Thiago Castor na diagramação, desenvolvendo um lindo trabalho matemático de organização e implementação.
For two years, working on the layout, illustration and printing of a book that presents the master's thesis of the architect and professor Marcus Vinicius, from Campina Grande (object of study of the book). The work involved developing a visual language for the traditional academic text, full of rules and standards, which limits the format of this type of book. We remade maps, corrected images, reread the structure and the layout of everything to transform it into an art book.
The book uses three distinct Pantones, printed on offset paper, size of 16x26cm. Hand sewn with apparent spine and triplex cover, giving the book a distinct structure. The cover still has the application of the three Pantones and a layer of varnish.
This project had the participation of Thiago Castor, an expert in layout, who developed a beautiful mathematical work of organization and implementation.
The book was selected to compose the Catalogo of the 12th Brazilian Biennial Graphic Design, ADG Brasil.
