everyone left behind

The prototype everyone left behind was created at the bpb:gamejam held in Berlin 2016 by the Agency for Political Education in Germany regarding the topic of refugees. You give hints, or targets, to a group of abstract figures that need to avoid falling into holes that open in the ground randomly while making their way to the right of the screen. The desert they cross is framed by concrete towers with motionless watching figures on them, allowing no escape from their voyage on this gear-shaped machine, their only hope to refresh the lines with people from green tents.

Everyone left behind is a non-game, there is no way to win. The only highscore is a body count.

The game was done together with Jan-Helme Henke within 48 hours.
