My solo exhibition in Nara, Japan (June 2017)

My solo art exhibition in Japan, Tenri City & Kawakami Village. June 2017.
The Exhibition was held as part of the official opening of Nara-Oman Friendship Association Event. I have participated as an art ambassador to Oman, and presented several traditional Omani products such as Frankincense, Omani clothes, & others. As well as several photography books about Oman.
I've created artworks with creative ideas merging in some Japanese & Omani cultures together in every piece. Read below for more...
Friends: I've presented this artwork as a gift for the Nara-Oman Friendship Association. The artwork is about two friends, the Omani sea turtle & the Japanese deer which is known as Nara's symbol. Under the blooming cherry tree & some seashells beneath them.
Eyes Beyond Sensu : A portrait of an Omani lady focusing on her beautiful eyes & traditional Omani head wear, hidden behind a Japanese traditional fan (sensu) with patterns of cherry blossoms.
Henna Sencha: An Omani women with henna around her fingertips holding a cup of Japanese green tee.
Housekibako: it is the name of the traditional Japanese jewelry box, which contains Traditional Omani golden accessories.
Kintsugi : is the Japanese art of fixing broken pottery with pure gold or silver, used on an Omani water pot.
Mandoos: an Omani treasure box usually used by women to store clothes & gold, this one contains a piece of Japanese Kimono silk.
Monarch: the name of the most popular butterflies in Oman, decorating a Japanese lady's kimono.
An Omani lady, her Henna spreads out of her hands as Sakura leaves.
Thank you!
