Drifter’s Bane is an action-packed crime drama that features elements of gang violence, drugs, and automobile drifting. These elements lend themselves to a darker graphic style targeting a more mature audience. Think Fast and the Furious meets the Yakuza.
For Drifter’s Bane, I created a unique title sequence that sets the stage for the show. I had a few goals for this project, I wanted to create a really dirty grungy look and utilize 3D cameras to get that grungy parallax in each shot. I also wanted to challenge myself to only use still photography, so any movement and wheels spinning is actually a still photo animated and manipulated by me.
