It has been a while since i last studied master paintings. So i decided to pick a subject "specific lighting direction" and search for a good example in the master paintings collections. So i picked two paintings for the master of light, the Dutch artist Gerard van Honthorst and another painting done by my personal favorite "Jean Leon Gerome". Learned a lot of these 2 amazing paintings, I should do this more often.
