MONOLITH(My very first CD Cover)

This one is by far one of the most interesting projects I've been involved in so far. The case is a CD cover & Booklet for Implant Pentru Refuz (trad. Implant For Denial) band. IPR is a rock band with a solid presence on the Cross-metal – Hardcore scene in Romania. The Band invited me to direct all the production and design that went into their new album…Monolith.

Although I was given total freedom with this project and No precise deadline I’ve been through a series of eventful situations while being involved in this project.

At some point I might tell the whole story behind it, a story that was documented in 2 journals, 12kg of sketches & almost 5 months of designing and inserting 2401 words on a 5 fold leporello CD booklet

This is my very first attempt to write down the introductory speech for The European Design Conference 2009 (held in Zurich, Switzerland) where I was invited to talk for 50 minutes about the MONOLITH project. I have no recollection if I said any of these things but who would remember it anyway. (Sorry for the typo's and ugly handwriting)
