Hand-painted mural for Sunnyvale, an independent alternative music venue in the Williamsburg neighborhood of Brooklyn, NY by Leanna Perry. The artwork references the rich history of underground club music in NY while also acknowledging the hard work ethic and do-or-die attitude of contemporary DIY musicians. The rainbow and checkerboard pattern showcase the venue as a safe place for all humans regardless of identity.
