Vestigios
My work was inspired by Yves Klein, from whom I took concepts such as leaving a mark through fire, its strength and the impossibility of controlling it completely. I wanted to capture a moment and the vestiges that we leave in our passage through life. I reused disposable Styrofoam containers which I shaped with fire and then concealed the origin of the material using some plasticizing, painting and varnishing finishes.
