Moving a University Forward.
As a Christian university, Point Loma Nazarene University (PLNU) was constantly grappling with preconceived notions of Christian conservatism and rigid intolerance of diverse thinking. Miriello Grafico expressed the true character of the institution one of acceptance, encouragement and forward-thinking, both in learning and in life. The Forward brand was delivered through a simple line visual used as a metaphor for a students life experience. The brand invites students, faculty and alumni to personally shape their experiences at PLNU. In so doing, they are also shaping the content for a living PLNU brand story. The line metaphor opens visual, communication, PR and event possibilities, and engages all the varied communities that comprise the PLNU experience.
