KIMUKA | Where your ideas grow

As we investigated the current situation involving the young talent in our cities, we discovered a gap in the programmes offered to them. KIMUKA, which can be translated from Basque as “sprout to sprout”, was created in order not only to improve the visibility of their projects and businesses, but also to allow and promote the development of that local talent.
The modules
Designed for hosting start-ups and projects, the modules had to be easy to assemble and disassemble, as their location would change frequently.
They are composed of five different pieces: composite floor tiles, composite roof slats, steel frames for floor and roof, pine wood structure frames and OSB or polycarbonate panels. They are easily assembled using only two kinds of wood joints, without any tool or screw.
The webpage and app
As KIMUKA was created to provide entrepreneurs with visibility for their projects, shops or businesses, it required more than a physical space where they could become known. That is why the KIMUKA App was developed, in order to improve the connections between entrepreneurs and citizens and investors.
