Allegro is Europe's 5th largest marketplace, polish platform to sell and exchange goods online. The purpose of collaboration was to give a second life to a postal packages used in a huge amounts for shipping goods.
Since most packages are thrown out right after receiving the parcel, let’s throw them out consciously and with benefit. THINGS PEOPLE project provides postal package with additional function by transforming it into a container for waste sorting.
FUNCTION
Besides being a container for waste sorting, this package aims to make people aware of importance of waste recycling. Infographics with usage instruction inside of the box communicate what each of us can bring for the nature by sorting the waste.
USAGE
Allegro Group provided the opportunity to test printed package prototypes functionality with users. Tests along with the opinion survey helped to improve clarity of infographics, way of usage of the box, and made handles more comfortable to grip.
PROJECT NAME
We chose the title THINGS PEOPLE to let users decide of the relationship between those two terms.
