This was a menu redesign for a coastal restaurant named Brockton Villa. On this project, I wanted to think outside the box when it comes to traditional menu design. This was one of those projects where I didn’t get to choose my client. I took this challenge to come up with a menu that looks like an envelope and inserts that were styled like post cards. Things were made a little difficult when you are not their target audience, but still have to design for the company.

These are photos of the mock-up I made. There are two inserts that slide out of the envelope. One for the food, and one for the drinks. I used paragraph and character styles for all of the typesetting, and a few master pages for the common elements. The most difficult part of this project was getting the die-strike measured exactly so the food and drink tabs would show correctly.
