1/8 Takamura
1/8 Takamura is a Mexican brand created by Guillermo Vargas. Founded in 2012, it seeks to respond to the needs of contemporary clothing with a series of garments generated from artistic, aesthetic and functional criteria. The brand work with artisan processes as well as in the development of new variants related to non-conventional materials, textures and modes of production. Each piece is a walking experiment that is changing.
I was commissioned by Guillermo to set down new communication concepts as well as redefine the aesthetic values in order to come with a fresh approach that connects with a wider and younger market while maintaining the brand core essence.
