Lance Vance Dance (12" Vinyl) | Packaging Design
This project that began in early August was based around creating a parody vinyl sleeve that would take the phrase “Lance Vance Dance” from the 2002 video-game Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, in order to help visualise the idea that Lance Vance had recorded a pop song around the phrase itself.
The visual style of the packaging itself would carry a loose 1980s Miami Vice-like feel, alongside a few aging effects such as scratches and dust.
The mockup is based around the sleeve itself being displayed against a dark background that would be faded enough to still allow the dark sleeve to be clearly visible without clashing.
So, be sure to tell me what you think in the comment section below!
