"Organic Heroes" is an interactive, social game consisting of plantable cards and a mobile app, in the purpose of encouraging children to take part in the cultivation of community gardens across the city.
The playing cards are printed on seeded paper, each card enabling the growth of a different plant with its unique characteristics and benefits. The accompanying app assists the player in managing the garden by providing alerts, tasks and information about the state of the plants, all the while maintaining a playful disposition especially suited for children at the ages of 8-10.
The project was created with the intention of contributing to the environment, while making gardening approachable, enjoyable and rewarding for the children.
