Shree Makhan Bhog is a dine-in Restaurant which serves authentic Indian Food, Sweets & Eggless Bakery with a speciality of using pure Desi Ghee ( Local Clarified Butter) sourced from the nearby farms. Desi Ghee & Butter are long considered as a good enhancer of taste along with their immense health benefits.
The design elements are derived from the brand name itself where, "Shree ( श्री )" is a Sanskrit language word equivalent to "Mr." or "Ms" in english or sometimes referred as a title for Hindu deities such as "Shree Krishna" in this case; "Makhan ( माखन )" means butter; " Bhog (भोग) means food as a religious offering. Red and yellow colours, clay pot with overflowing butter, peacock feather and wavy lines ( everything floating in butter ) are some of the design elements inspired from the name.
The challenge was to avoid making it a completely modern and abstract design. Client was looking to keep some items from the rustic lifestyle intact while making it look good with the latest style trends in the food industry.

The concept of the illustration is to highlight the uniqueness of the restaurant where the dairy based raw material is being sourced from the local farms straight to the restaurant. The raw material is then processed at the restaurant kitchen and used to prepare wide variety of Indian food, sweets, bakery and drinks.
