Such situations can be avoided or at least risk of them during surgery can be significantly reduced due to use of special diagnostic device -intraoperative neuromonitoring.

Intraoperative neuromonitoring technology usage is generally acceptedin the worldwide practice of operative interventions with a risk of affection of nervous structures.
