THE FINE LINE OF MOTHER NATURE
What is the very first object, which we always carry with us? How does it define us? Clothes have been part of our journey and development for thousands of years. They have always been produced from natural elements, surrounding and sheltering us. Ultimately giving us identity. Making us human beings.
In this project I started with this idea and connected it with the fact that technology, smart devices and electronics play an increasingly important role in our lives.
From waking up to going to bed it frames our days, yet from such great use we lose the knowledge of how to use and produce them. Our esthetic ideals have driven design to hide these electronics, by integrating them into flattering forms. What if we made these electronics visible? How much would we want to use them? Where do they fit, where not? This work is an exploration of the limits between technology and our human nature.
