The Original Northern Island is the folk solo project of Toni, a musician from Madrid based in Barcelona. His powerful voice and elegant guitar transports you to the deserts of America and the forest of Europe passing through his own nostalgic island. Seeing him live is a mesmerizing experience leaving nobody indifferent.
For his logo, I've created a typography inspired in nature consisting of geometrical shapes and subtle strokes to give it a sense of organic, like his music.
With his new upcoming album on the way, I was in charge of designing the album art. The design is influenced in Native Indian culture symbols meaning life, nature, and fire combined with color powder and landscape photography. The end result is a captivating explosion to the eye full of color that goes hand in hand with the powerful sound of the album, Firecrackle.
