XV Opera in Piazza
(en) We designed the visual image for the “XV Opera in Piazza” of the San Vito al Tagliamento municipality, presenting two shows: Cavalleria Rusticana and Gianni Schicchi. It was required to use an old illustration of the town’s plaza. Based on a research on original Opera posters of late ‘800 we wanted to create something with clear historical hooks, but with a contemporary look to be appealing to people of all ages.
(it) Abbiamo progettato l’immagine per la XV Opera in Piazza del Comune di San Vito al Tagliamento, che presenta due spettacoli: Cavalleria Rusticana e Gianni Schicchi. La richiesta era utilizzare un’illustrazione al tratto della Piazza del Popolo. Sulla base di una ricerca sulle rappresentazioni grafiche delle opere di fine ‘800 abbiamo voluto creare un prodotto grafico con chiari richiami storici, ma che al tempo stesso avesse un aspetto contemporaneo per apparire interessante a tutte le fasce d’età.
