Xcel Energy Employees Deliver

The corporate culture at Xcel Energy had been evolving for several years, necessitated by increasing competition and customer expectations. The company made great progress moving from a culture of a regulated monopoly to a competitive, customer-focused mindset. But we needed every employee to engage in change and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement each and every day. “I Deliver” is the campaign through which we asked employees to do just that. The campaign challenged employees to embrace four behaviors all the time, and each quarter, asks them to pledge to take a specific action in support of a specific behavior.
