Mr Bahar Uddin has been living in the Elephant and Castle area for about forty years and make part of the Bangladesh community and has a great connection with the people around the area he is a established merchant. The way I have decided to document his life was through collecting old family photographs, as it would give a better insight of his life rather than me photographing his life and taking it with my own views. In that way I could detach myself from the story and just let the person with his photographs to tell the story. In that way I became the inter-mediator of the story and not the narrator of it. By doing the work in that way I believe I could give a better in-sight of his life. As I have used old family photographs. The focus of this work is his old stories such as about his arranged marriage back in Bangladesh and how his feels about his parents as well the tradition of the family.
