When I started this project, The Syrian conflict has been on for almost two years. Four years have passed since I finished it. 
lives, families, homes, jobs , and cities have been lost to the war since.
However, survival instinct is the first line of defense for us as humans and our most efficient feature is the huge capacity for adaptation which is the key for us as a specie to form a built up mechanism of collective learning.

 And in this project, I try to address this aspect of us by studying war trauma on those whom have been forced to live in these hard times.
A small tribute to the victimized and traumatized civilians during wars. 

the figure pauses in a tense, unstable and imbalanced way. Showing awareness in spite of the intense over-taking of war impact, revealing the weakness, hesitation, and anxiety from what is yet to come.
