The project is a take on both analog toys and the cultural/ecologic context of Puerto Rico. Due to the high amount of indoor and digital play that occurs nowadays, combined with low outdoor participation of both adults and children, the toy series composed of the 17 endemic bird species of Puerto Rico aims to motivate outdoor play while familiarizing the users and viewers with the avian variety of the island. Ultimately, its main goal is to develop appreciation of the natural surroundings that exist throughout the island.
