Updated an old design a friend had initially asked for as a tattoo. The tattoo never happened but shall be printing this out as a poster. Some detail and process below

included the elements of Wolves and Spades throughout the design

Will more than likely create some other cards in due time

Font is Teutonic No4. The main outlines for the Spade were created in Illustrator then carried over to Photoshop for the details.

Here are some process pics. Sketches on paper, photographed with phone, Bluetoothed to computer then drawn with Wacom in Photoshop. I love the tech this timeline has. Looking forward to upgrading to a Cintiq soon from my Intuos 3.

Here is a color version of the piece from years ago. I created it in Flash. Changed the direction the king was facing to something that is more similar as the typical front facing design.
