Paintings from the first half of 2010
A collection of landscapes, seascapes and portraits from the first half of 2010.
When I paint, I take extra care to be minimalist. This means, I strive to convey as much atmosphere as possible with as few brushstrokes as possible. I strive to "not tell it all", to let the viewer use his/her head and fill in where necessary. Contrasting this, I have a maximalist view on color!
