"Power of Will," 30" x 40" Acrylic/Wax on Canvas by Lorna Harris

After the piece inspired by the Flash, I definitely got excited about doing an entire series inspired by my favorite DC Comics’ characters. And the series was to be able to portray a specific emotion. This piece here I painted during the times I felt most confident and motivated, as it is supposed to represented Confidence, Motivation, and, of course, Willpower.

The special thing about the actual painting itself is that parts of the background, the lantern, and the ring were given a few extra layers of glow-in-the-dark acrylic paint. Which looked super awesome under blacklight when it was at my house.
